What Technology Brings to the Developing World

When I decided to move to Africa, I did so with the goal to do good. I had spent four years in college studying algorithms, building software and even having fun, but when all was said and done, I craved to do something meaningful. I came to Africa because I wanted to see a different side of life, to broaden my way of thinking, and to make a positive impact where I could. Now just how I would manage to do that was less immediately clear. How could I use my skills to make difference?

Great article. Nice way to include your blog followers. Congratulations on becoming a writer for Huffington Post.

Back on March 9th when you said, "If I were to start a blog on a prominent web news outlet, what would you want to read?" I sort of hoped that Huff would be the place.

Great article....its really refreshing to know that there are people out there who are willing to help.Keep up the good work and i will advise that you form a local technology group where you can teach young ones like me who are very hungry to learn about the web

We actually have Google Technology User Groups set up all around the world for this exact purpose! Just Google it to find out if there's one in your area. :-)

It's just one of the default Blogger themes. Another one of the cool things Google makes. ;-)
